Vocal Expression Journey

This is a 12 week journey to empower your voice and life through singing and drumming, the vocal resonance method, and sacred sound devotional practices.

We will open our channels of divine expression and free our voices naturally.

While our voice will be led by our heart, mind, body, and higher self, the voice will be the primary instrument of transformation and empowerment of our soul’s expression and we will also have the opportunity to learn and practice singing with lap style frame drum.

This drum can also be a shamanic style drum.

Module 1- Somatic Sounding

I like to call this “cracking the egg” because this practice really creates change quickly and powerfully. It teaches us deep body awareness and how to use color and sounds to release and transmute energies and patterns that are not serving us. AND like dancing it also allows for the integration of energies like joy. The sounds can be primal and even imitate animals or nature elements.

Module 2- Light Language

This practice brings us into the vibrations of our soul language. It is unique to each of us. It gets us out of our minds and into our soul codes.

It has multidimensional possibilities for healing and communication that transcends time and space. It is an adventure as we align with the divine.

Module 3- Open Your Channel

Here we learn how to allow a free-flowing expression of creativity through our voice. We use a variety of sounds, toning, humming, and light language, and even words/phrases to move energy through our central channel. Trust is a key word here. We give our channel a voice to integrate the heart and mind to drop into the flow state of creativity.

Module 4- Rhythm Entrainment and the Power of Affirmational Chanting

Rhythm and simple chants are powerful ways to create entrainment in the brain (synchronize into higher states of consciousness) and even trance states. You don’t need a drum, but if you have one it sure is fun, or simply use your body.

Module 5- Rewrite your Vocal Story

This module is about shedding skins and old stories about your voice. We do a special fire/burn ceremony and create a new story about your voice with love and devotion. We learn a medicine song too. Great if you have a drum or not.

Module 6- Sound Healing with the Voice

Here we will dive into the science about using sound as therapy for healing. We will look at anatomical pictures of the vocal cords and also see how the voice is related to the womb space and yoni.

Module 7- Prayerformance Space Setting & Invocations

We will discuss how to open and close a container/space with clear energetic hygiene. A lot of this will have been modeled throughout our sessions thus far. Nevertheless we will also learn how to hold our audience with love, compassion, and tangible service oriented practices.

Module 8- Activating the Quantum Field with Your Voice and Vocal Manifestation

This is where we learn how to become more aware of our masculine and feminine energies to sing our dreams/desires into being. Using the voice is a powerful way to enter the quantum field so we will also learn a prayer to open our Akashic records. Here we have the opportunity to realize our multidimensional nature.

And perhaps most importantly creating an internal state of divine union and balance of the feminine and masculine within us is absolutely vital for nurturing our life force.

Module 9- Singing the Chakras

We will more fully dive into each chakra, the corresponding vowel sounds-colors-powers, and learn how to become more self-aware of blockages. And we will also learn how to sing to each others’ chakras to bring in specific sound healing and love.

Module 10- Songwriting 101

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned songwriter; your song, your voice is unique to you! We will look at various song forms and you will be invited to share what makes a song attractive to you. You will be invited also to create a song to share (optional).

Module 11- Vocal Blessings

This is an invitation to create vocal blessings for the earth, ourselves, our families, and so on. You will now have a variety of gems/tools to use from your ever growing treasure chest to share into the quantum field. We will create a field of prayer and blessings through song as we tune into each person in our group. Singing is the highest form of prayer.

Module 12- Celebration

Here I would love it if each person would share a heartfelt soul-coded creation as a celebration of love, healing, and transformation. It could be an original song with guitar, a medicine song with drum, a light language activation, a guided chakra journey, a sharing of a research interest, a goddess invocation, poetry, something spoken, a shared writing, and perhaps even a story of vocal empowerment. The sky is the limit!! Even a dance movement with voice or a guided vocal meditation would be welcomed and there’s probably something I haven’t thought of yet.
